![]() Most of the Middle East’s oil refineries were already destroyed through military conflict before Phrenicea could assuage warlike tendencies. The resulting exorbitant price of oil was a prime factor in Phrenicea’s cultural infiltration. Local transportation was limited to electric jitneys and runabouts, vehicles very similar to the golf cart from generations past.
